Brooke VanEsley

As far back as I can remember, I've always struggled to find a sense of inner peace and happiness; which is why when confronted with it during a 30 day yoga challenge in college, around 2011, I resisted the opportunity to change, and ran the other direction completely. Since then, I've had my ups and downs with yoga and personal growth. It wasn't until I came to Plymouth Yoga Room in 2016 that I felt a change in my heart, mind and body. My journey had led me to exactly where I needed to be, and I haven't been the same person since. My mantra has become "no mud, no lotus," and it is a reminder to accept the ebb and flow of life; embracing life's challenges, instead of hiding from them, and from those challenges will come new growth and beauty. I enjoy a yoga class that helps lift any emotional weight off my shoulders, one that gives me a little light to carry throughout my day. I strive to bring that same feeling and expression to my own classes, for students who are looking for that release. I hope to give to my students what Plymouth Yoga Room and its teachers have given me; which is strength, peace, and happiness to continue on my journey and grow into the person I always knew I could be.

Brooke VanEsley instructs the following:
  • Vinyasa
  • A dynamic series of sequenced postures that flow together designed to build great internal heat in order to purify the body with physically demanding postures done at the measure of your own breath.

  • Yoga Flow
  • Vinyasa for those wanting to experience a physically slower paced class. Yoga Flow will focus on working at a methodical pace. We will be holding postures, focusing on our breath, and at the same time creating a supple and toned body. Great place for beginners
