As someone who was always into solitary athletic pursuits, I began yoga classes on a whim and as a way to encourage a friend to exercise. I quickly fell in love with the practice and discovering the Plymouth Yoga Room in 2009 was life changing. My love of practice has been fueled by the transformation I have experienced physically, mentally and emotionally; and my love of teaching is fueled by what I witness everyday in the students who come to the studio. My background in social work and training in Neurolinguistic Programming and Hypnosis Therapy gives me an unusual perspective and respect for the power of mind that so completely compliments the practice yoga. I am honored and grateful for the opportunity to share in and contribute to the energy at PYR and strive to make my classes challenging, centering and healing.
